Islamic Society of Gloucester (ISOG) is a registered UK charity providing a place of worship and community services. Its activities include daily prayers, religious ceremonies, Islamic education, community events, and welfare initiatives such as food banks and outreach to support the wider public.

<h1 class="ql-align-right ql-direction-rtl"> Muslim Community of Gloucester</h1> For years, the Islamic Society of Gloucester (ISOG) has worked tirelessly to serve the growing Muslim community in Gloucester from a rented space. What started as a small gathering of worshippers has grown into a vibrant and diverse community of families, young people, students, professionals and reverts coming together for salah, Islamic education, community programmes and support. But despite the growth, one major challenge has remained: We still do not have a permanent home. Every month, significant funds go towards rent. Space is limited. Programmes are restricted. The community continues to grow, yet we remain in a temporary space that cannot fully meet the needs of our congregation and future generations. Now, Allah سبحانه وتعالى has opened a rare and exciting opportunity for ISOG to secure a permanent building nearby that can become a dedicated Islamic Community Centre for Gloucester and the surrounding areas. This is more than just purchasing a building. This is about building stability, securing our future and creating a lasting legacy for generations to come. A permanent home for ISOG would allow us to: <ul><li>Establish a dedicated place for daily and Jumu’ah prayers</li><li>Expand Qur’an and Islamic education for children and adults</li><li>Create youth programmes and activities</li><li>Provide dedicated sisters’ facilities and programmes</li><li>Support reverts and new Muslims</li><li>Deliver outreach, welfare and community initiatives</li><li>Build a stronger and more connected Muslim community in Gloucester</li></ul> For years, we have adapted, rented and made do with temporary arrangements. Today, we have an opportunity to move from temporary to permanent. We need our community, families, friends and supporters to come together and be part of this journey. Every donation, every fundraiser and every share brings us one step closer to securing a permanent home for Islam in Gloucester.
